@essexbred1986 I think it's Elvish, unless Aragon knows the Dwarf language as well, he wouldn't've made a comment to Gimli... but just taking a guess...

@MrAwesome898 It shows in a flashback on the extended edition of The Two Towers. He only went because his father forced him to.
Plus, Boromir's father is an asshole.

Gimli was better in the book, he wasn't so arrogant, much more courteous and civilised. He was amusing in the movie though.
