  • Omg that is so old 20 years old

what if that 747 break apart due to age

    oh gawd

  • @WhoaOmgWthLol well the planes are always being inspected before every take-off. so no they wont fall apart or anything like that. dont worry just worry about your luggage. hahahaha

  • is PR 103 OF PAL SAFE? HOW OLD IS THAT AIRCRAFT

  • @AlexisCamille the problem in your question is that you are asking for a specific aircraft. when PAL uses about 7 aircrafts from Manila to Los Angeles. From what i remember its 4 747's and 3 343's. and a lot of aircrafts are like 20yrs old. not only PAL has old a/c a lot of airlines do. its really expensive to buy a "new" plane. usually they are bought used. but PAL is getting new 777. for more info just visit their website

  • omg u mean 200 feet fall that is crazy. when it looses a lift and hwat if there is a pitot tube freeze and air speed indicates bad. my oh my what can we do withy thtat? what should the pilot do if there is a severe air turbulance

  • @AlexisCamille not exactly 200ft but yea something like that. there is actually 2 pitot tubes. one for the pilot and one for the co-pilot. so if one freezes there is still one left, like a back up so to say. well there is a couple of things the pilot can do, im not a pilot or anything but i would assume they would go to a lower altitude and get into calmer air

  • @NR27V3 yea sure not a problem. glad u like it. if i may ask what are u gonna use it for?

  • @AlexisCamille no it isnt dangerous. its like driving against the wind. and yes PAL is still a safe airline. the FAA would not allow them to fly if they were not. flying is very safe actually. but just an interesting fact. when in turbulence, and its called a "bumpy ride" in all reality the plane just lost "lift" or the ability to fly and it falls about a couple of hundred feet. crazy no? but yea all airplanes can experience that.

  • Isnt it dangerous if the plane is against the jet stream and is PAL still a safe airline. I saw in the website that the FAA downgrade its rating to level 2 please reply thanks

  • @AlexisCamille Well from MNL to LAX the jetstream is in the planes favor. it pushes the plane. but from LAX to MNL the jetstream is pushing against the plane. so it uses more fuel to take the plane the same distance. back to the fuel. whenever the flight is going that long of a distance it needs to refuel at each stop. so in Manila it gets fueled, flys to Los Angeles and there it gets refueled as well. trust me i used to work for them i know what im saying 95% of the time lol
