@kev3145 Well if the ufc hadnt lifted mma out of the dark ages, mma as we know it today probably wouldnt exist. So its very important. And i agree, steroid abusers arent good for mma, but your going to get those in every sport.

@BigJohnButNotTall I agree. Shamrock would've crippled Abbott! Who gives a flyin fuck about all this "good for the sport" horseshit! This is fighting, not a damn golf game. Besides, if ya wanna talk about freak show, think about all the fighters that use steroids... such-as-Ken-Shamrock! Ever thought juicing junkies like him would be "good for the sport"? Nevertheless he's a legend and he's awesome.

@kev3145 well, abbott was a skilless brawler, and shamrock was a well versed submission fighter. This fight would most likely have been over in the first round no matter what, and it wouldnt do anything good for the sport for the general public to see a fight resembling a freak show.
