  • Why are the beds risen? Is it made to protect the plants somehow? Or just decorative? Good job man. I'd like to have a garden myself:).

  • actually my soil is very rocky, the reason for the raised beds is so I coudl add at least 6" of good soil above my crappy soil...thats why I made them...

  • Do u live near A MAin road?, You could Sell a portion of what you grow to make some money,

Or maybe "JEFF'S FRUIT & VEG" ? lol, You could be the next Donald Trump...?

  • Yeah I live on a secondary road, meaning the road os off a main road, I woudl say I geta car passing by once evetry 10 minutes at least so yeah its used alot...

  • Watch out for tomato horn worms on your tomato plants, they are terrible. Something you should try are collards. they grow very easly, you cut off all the leaves eat um and new ones keep growing.

P.S. Tomatos are fruits, along with asperigrass technically beleave it or not. Taking that botany class was a good idea afterall.

  • Thanks for the info!

  • Cleaning my yard up getting redy to plant some stuff in the garden

  • wow, it has really progressed since the empty frames. thanks for posting.

  • Botanically, tomatoes are fruit. Culturally, tomatoes are veggies. And very good ones, too!

  • coffe compost are great fertilizer! All that open land you have there, please make your own compost.. Save you lots of money!

  • no more onions?????noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • Romas and grape are awesome, very sweet. You did a great job you should be proud of yourself. Sometimes mother nature is not so kind and you can only do what is allowed. We haven't any significant rain for about 3 weeks, my garden is dried up but I had a blast doing it. I get a few cucumbers here and there and 1 or 2 very small tomatoes. Such is life. I'm still grateful, maybe next time.

  • yea grapes are easy and taste great too.

  • You should try Romas and grape too. They produce really well without much effort.
