One of Schecter's hottest from the early '80s is back! Originally a custom model, the Schecter PT is now available to a much wider spectrum of musicians as part of the Diamond Series. It is modeled after several guitars that were built in the 80's for The Who's Pete Townshend. The Schecter PT features a Creme bound alder body of traditional shape, bolt-on rock maple neck (25-1/2" scale), and maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Two tapped Schecter Superock humbuckers let you play fat and chunky, or give you sweet, jangly single-coil sounds. The Schecter PT is a truly classic, yet versatile axe for the discerning rocker. Seriously, if it's good enough for Pete it's good enough for you.

  • I'm a full fledge Gibson guy but I came really close to buying one of these about a year ago and I wish I had. It's a great guitar. Very comfortable and a plethera of tone settings.

  • I have on and love it deffinetly able to play anything

  • Fuck!! I want one!! Why I´m poor :( lol :)

  • reminds me of jim root's telecaster

  • This may tempt me from the Fender camp... I have a Tele Deluxe, and I was wondering if there was a similar model with a coil-tap feature. What do you think: this plus a Peavey Bandit 112?

  • @ToneChaser4Life negative, originally by CCR, covered years later by Tina Turner. In case you're wondering, she also didn't do the original version of "The Acid Queen." That was written by this guitar's namesake. XD
