    how did you get the material for the water.

    i cant seem to get my water material right

  • this is actually pretty bad compared to some other materials, but here there are

    :activate ray transparency and set it all the up

    -under material tab, put alpha around .01

    -ray mirror+= try setting it low, like .1

    -under ray transp, set ior to 1.3

    -color= pure white, spec white, mirror white

    -under shaders tab, put translucency all the up

    -also put trashadow on so it can recieve transparent shadows

    -put spec to 2, hard to 260, and use blinn if you want

    -tweak from here the way you like
