Race and "ethnic advancement" aside, felons shouldn't lose voting rights. I have felonies, but I pay 21% of my income to feed elected officials their salaries. I am still american enough to be taxed, but not enough to vote? It's one way or the other, if I am banished from the democratic process, how the hell can I be expected to PAY for it?

I really do wish all those conservatives could have came out against Clarence Thomas like this. He contributes nothing to the conversation. He just sits quietly and votes based on how right wingers tell him to.

Liberals (and neocons) use whatever racial angle they can to demonize traditional conservatives like Buchanan... and although you can see right through it, the racist paintbrush works for many uninformed viewers. That's why they do it.

i know Pat Buchanans views, I think he's more of a traditional conservative, preservationist type, certainly not a racist. I don't see him commanding a troupe of Skinheads of Klansman. He's no David Duke. Nowhere in the video did he say anything racist. I'd vote for him and i'm mostly Latino. I understand his views on illegal immigration and I like this guy, I think it's great that he puts America first, not a world police neo-con like most of the trash on these shows.
