  • Shawn, I've been an athlete my entire life. Was a nationally ranked javelin thrower way back. So my body has done your mentioned moves thousands of times, but with a golf club, my left hip does not clear; I come up at impact and flip. UGH! Having been an athlete, for the life of me, I don't know why I can't do it with a golf club. Don't get me wrong, I play off an 8, and hit it pretty long, but my mechanics are faulty.

  • @MikePedersenGolfTips Hey Mike!

You are struggling with the same issues throughout all your posts on my videos; what I recommend you do is go to my forum and post your questions there and you will have tremendous support for these; just go to my website above and join, we have a great bunch of friendly guys and gals that are having a blast answering questions and exchanging successes and challenges along the way. I chime in quite a bit too! :)

  • Do you have a list recommending which videos to watch in order?

  • @mouffpiece This is what the DVD series is for! :) My new 5 disc series is completely redone from start to finish with 2 cameras and all the info is in priority sequence; all the segments are 5 minutes long for easy digestion; just go to my store page on my website; All the best! Shawn

  • Thanks Shawn! This video has been a great help. It's helped me simplify my swing, and get to a more natural motion. When I do this move though, I tend to get laid off at the top, and pointed outside the line. Any thoughts on keeping the club more upright? Thanks for your help!

  • @sqlcodingmonkey Yes, finish the turn out of the way of the arms in the backswing; it will bring the arm club unit around properly and deliver more from the inside on the downswing; see "golf pro lesson how to coordinate arm motion with body turn" and "golf pro lesson stop crashing"; Shawn

  • lmao! i was searching golf tips, i discovered a new word (preservating) how people are dead if they break a leg and how to throw a stone into a pond. keep up the good work.......

  • shawn,

your footwork is phenominal! this facet of the game has been a recent focus of my studies, but seemingly it's a facet that isn't dealt with much. ???

  • Hi Shawn, just wanted to say that videos on the Ridiculously Easy Swing and Focus (and your other videos) have really helped me to make golf even more pleasurable - no more focusing on the back of the ball! So far so good - when I've focused on a target I go towards it, just need to make sure I select the right club now! Stableford scores now in the 40s...the handicap really needs to go down! Brilliant stuff.
