  • priceless

  • Oh...Walther Matthau...Love him!

  • It would have been great if he had started to tell a story about one of the many orgies he used to have at his house in Hollywood , how Jack would come over with a car load of hookers and a ton of coke . One can just imagine the director of this show screaming out for Robert Evans mike to be cut as Evans continues to tell a stunned audience of stars how Jack's backside was just a blur as he banged away on a hooker like a wild tiger , banging away like an open barn door in a heavy wind .

  • @Mrsilenciobackgammon haha fair enough he sure has alot of self aggrandisement about himself in the kid stays in the picture, and his book. I take this one as truth more so just because I think he could have easily said it was only Charles Bludhorn who was against it, but he said even he was not for it alone. I do think he has certainly embellishment and with anyone trying to polish there career they want to make it like theres more hits than misses, perhaps more of the former then the latter.

  • @blindtimes Yeah....Evans SAYS that. After reading his book, I certainly take any of his tales with a grain of salt. I think his memories are sketchy, at best...perhaps even a little bit delusional. I'm sure the truth is somewhere in the middle. I think too many people look at him as some sort of demi-god as his credentials looks great on paper, while there's a lot of back story to his success.

  • @Mrsilenciobackgammon Its sort of a domino effect, Robert Evans had to be accountable to Charlie Bludhorn (head of Gulf & Western/ Paramount) who was vehement about Brando not being in there, that was largely Francis Fords push for as well as Pacino (as everyone knows) however Godfather he was the one who was largely responsibly for the editing of the Godfather, he infact sent Coppola to shoot more of the film, it was set for release in that winter, and he made him go back.

  • Is he dead?

  • Robert Evans - a true Hollywood guy.

  • I'm positive there's one single asshole hitting all these afi vids and clicking 'Dislike' just for the hell of it.
