At least one bear rampaged through a campground near Yellowstone National Park, killing a Grand Rapids man and injuring a woman and another man early Wednesday morning.
With these attacks, we really need to do something about animal control. How about "bear free zones"? Maybe if we put up signs saying that no bears beyond this point would protect people? Sarcasm aside, you never know when you need to have your gun with you. I'd rather have it and not use it than not have it and need it.
This tragic event will lead to the carpet bombing of all forested areas with napalm, hydrogen bombs, neutron bombs, gravity, bombs, scalar waves, and paint balls.
This must never happen again ! Or, at least until someone need another news story.
If we could only feed all the starving wildlife with the so called great hunters that kill them for so called sport. All wildlife animals are majestic creatures that are worthy of life on this planet and the only animals that are nothing more than a cancer to this planet are humans. Besides surviving all they know is to care for their young but humans know nothing other then to kill and destroy for fun? Humans are the least deserving of life on this planet and human history proves that.
@SoggyHobNob Unfortunately, they already euthanized it and sent the cubs o a zoo. T_T Stupid idiots. Humans are not the most important things on Earth, we are all equal, and killing the bear just because it had the "gall" to kill one human is disgusting. We might as well make it illegal for Cheetah to hut Gazelle. I hate this anthropocentric society. Humans are the worst things to happen to the planet since... Ever, come to think of it.
Well with human occupation, animals aren't going to know what's going on. I bet the campsite was within the bears territory, and NATURALLY it would defend its territory. The bear was female and had just had cubs, it's going to be hormonal and over-protective. If they kill the bear, that will be SICK. It's not like the bear understands that the people are on vaccation and are just camping is it? People to a bear are either prey or predator, prey to an adult, and a predator to its cubs.

@nolliedruid I know. Are they planning on taking the bear to court or something??

@SoggyHobNob This is a frequented camping area, and bears don't normally attack like this.. This is very abnormal behavior..

@nolliedruid No, they're running DNA tests to see if the bear that they captured was the one who killed kammer.

DNA testing the bear seriously? every bear has the same instincts

We are visitors to that bears home. How would you like a bear in your home?
