The Shield - Final Credit Sequence - ...a long time ago

you know a year later the crime rate will go up since there is no vic mackey or the strike team they where what helped keep crime rates down and all

I can't say that this was THE best tv show ever. It certainly is ONE of the best. However, it definitely, without a doubt, had THE best and most fitting and satisfying finale to any tv series.

Vic Mackay is teh bomb...

There is much talk about a movie, but really I would only want to see a Shield movie if I can see Vic give Olivia, Corrine, and Claudette The Guardo Interrogation Method.

Farmington one year later, Crime is through the roof. I don't care what anyone says, I just watched series from start to finish and the proof is in the pudding that Vic was the lesser of two evils. The whole Terry Crowley thing wouldn't have happened if Assinvader didn't get all butt hurt that he couldn't control Vic like the hooker he ass fucked in Season 4. Hell Season 4 proved that Vic working with one gang, while shutting down the others was a lot better then going after all of them...

And season six proved that any one other than Vic Mackey leading the Strike Team is just a waste of time, and doomed to failure. Wyms own poster boy Hiatt proved he was too stupid to even make a dent in the crime stats, and Claudette even admitted to him that she needed a little bit of Vic. Other than the Money Train, most of the heinous shit Vic pulled was forced upon him.

man that is how i feel - I wanted to like the wire big time, watched the whole 1st series to give it a chance but just couldn't get into it. Never be another Shield.
