How about this? Just wear whatever you fucking want to wear. Don't let anybody else tell you otherwise. That to me, is not being true to yourself. That's like being mainstream, only it's darker. Back then we wore it because we liked it and it felt "right". Now there's even more people telling us wht goes together and what doesn't. Were making the same mistake we told ourselves we wouldn't do from the beginning. And that's being a follower. Be true to urself & don't let ppl tell u otherwise. :)

how to become goth: you don't, you're either goth or you aren't; goth is merely the expression of what's within, the whole fashion and lifestyle are just a byproduct of that self expression
