Californian Artist Reuben Margolin together with Technorama Staff have created one of the biggest and most complex kinetic sculptures in the world. Measuring 25 square meters the "magic carpet" contains more than 50'000 pieces and shows three characteristics of waves: Wavelength, Amplitude and Frequency.

@xxnickeyxx1 are you serious? its not a fucking magic light show made to trick you.
The reason it's impressive is the fact that that fluid motion was created in real life, using carefully timed mechanics, 50,000 pieces and probably a lot of math. Erasing the "strings" would basically turn it into a computer simulation, (which probably would have been significantly easier for them to make)
