I highly recommend to everyone that they read Mortality. I literally sobbed all the way through. I can say without a shadow of doubt Christopher Hitchens is the biggest influence in my life in terms of not what i think but how i think. I never knew him but miss him.g

One of the most brilliant clips I've ever seen on YouTube!

A tribute to a person who had both strength, integrity, honesty and a beautiful mind.

Logic in combination with what you really think is so very rare in these days..

Respect and admiration to Mr. Hitchens for his timeless logic and personification of the human spirit!

His words will live forever, and if time and space are relative (like Einstein theorised).

He is in eternity now. Like we all are.. Living, thinking, feeling, understanding

I'm an atheist but I think church is very good, and necessary. There should be a place for all people to go together to have community, help the needy, and hear a messages on living humbly and honestly, managing money and relationships, how incredible and precious life is, the awesomeness of the universe, and how to be loving and kind to others.

Living up to Hitchens, would require a second life, the mind of a "god", the patience of a saint, and the fierce tongue of that of a well-articulated Englishman. His sophisticated contrarian thinking and his peerless demagogic tongue, will forever remain with us, guiding us towards a saner tomorrow.

To be as blunt as possible religion as I see it provides structure for dumb people. Ultimately it does more harm then good. Enlighten oneself and think for yourself.

imma fundamentalist catholic christian. i go to catholic church every sunday and i love the church. i believe in ID (old earth creationism) and the resurrection of my lord and savior Jesus Christ. That having been said, Hitchens has always been my favorite intellectual and was the best writer, debater and public speaker the world has every seen. In a weird sort of way I see him as a gift from God to humanity as a way to get the world critically thinking once again.

Wow, you sound like a nutjob, you need to get help. I think you should get your head outta the buybull for a while. Ever heard the popular phrase : Religious Fanatic? Take a look in the mirror. You're just scaring sane people off. I don't trust people like you, think you can get away with your sins by repenting. I wouldn't want to be trapped in eternity with people like you, thanks. That goes for most Nutjobs, I speak the truth.
