Project update Video 02 -March 14, 2011
Today I decided I was going to check the gear oil level in the rear differential case of the GTS. I am running the stock 72' Ford 9" (naturally) with 3.25:1 or 3:50:1gears (still not sure on that yet). It's open (non-locking or lsd) and has 28 spline, small bearing axles. This video and the rear end is really basic. I am adding Valvoline Dura-Blend 80w90 gear oil.
I am hoping to rebuild it this summer with a locker, new bearings and some new 3.25s.
