It's fair to say that my process doesn't lend itself well to real-time demonstrations: a lot of deliberate, painstaking work that almost always moves very slowly. So, I sped up several hours of painting into a more viewable five minutes. This gives a pretty good sense of how I work, and shows how my paintings generally unfold. I always begin with a monochromatic underpainting; what you are seeing here is the application of the final color layer. Thanks for watching!
