Recorded live at the Hollywood Bowl, opening night (8/6/10).
Nicole completely blew me away with her performance. I was skeptical going in of the PCD frontwoman's vocal chops, but she not only sang the sh*t outta the role, she nailed the acting and dancing parts as well. I only wish I had recorded her during "Over the Moon"!
P.S. Sorry for the poor quality as I had to zoom in on the footage quite a bit.

ok, loving nicoles vocals with this song but im so glad she will never star as maureen in any production of rent. she would make a terrible maureen. am i alone here?

I think Nicole's voice is AMAZING in this, but I just think it's too refined for my liking. She has a lot of training, I like to hear Joanne a bit more raw, but amazing nonetheless!

I love Idina and I've loved this song everytime Idina has sung it but Nicole Scherzinger just took this song to a new level...that note on 'bed' at 1:49, was pretty amazing.

I'm glad Nicole got a chance to show the world how talented she really is. She was from the Pussycat Dolls so not a lot took the time to research and know that she majored in musical theater, minored in dance, had extensive background in opera and classical singing and musicals.
She may not be that popular but she is a great actress, great singer and a great dancer (she won Dancing With The Stars and hailed the best dancer of the show so far) and a songwriter not to mention her looks and body.
