This video shows a 3D model created from photographs, using Autodesk ImageModeler, modeling and photogrammetry software. This project was part of the Digital Cities initiative, and the model shows the interior of the Salzburg Museum, Austria. Photographs of the rooms of the museum were modeled and textured with Autodesk ImageModeler, from eight panoramas created with Autodesk Stitcher Unlimited software. Animation and rendering were achieved using Autodesk Maya software.

It probably isn't better then the mentioned Imagemaster, however its probably more user-friendly. And don't disillusion yourself that imagemaster just pops the 3D models automatically without any work but taking photographs. There is certain amount of operations needed before the model is done, not just take pictures and select create model.

I'm not sure...the only way to find out is to extensively test out both products.

Quite interesting, I'll feature this program in my dissertation "Is virtual reality useful for civil engineering?". what I would like to know is, what makes this program better than Imagemaster, which generates the 3D models automatically with the use of photogrammetric images?
