Azaleas bloom around this time of the year in Japan. The Rikugien Garden built in 1702 by the powerful lord Yanagisawa in the central Tokyo is famousu for Azaleas. They were brought from southern part of Japan, and improved by garden artisans in Edo (an old name of Tokyo). People enjoy various Azalea in this garaden.
