  • oh my god that milk is steamed horribly

  • @offthebackfoot No... it's not she got it wrong in the video. You can tell by the way she steamed her milk she doesn't really know how to make a good cappuccino.

Ideally a cappuccino is supposed to be 1/3rd espresso, 1/3rd steamed milk and 1/3rd froth.

And you're on Youtube... why don't you just search how to make an cappuccino?

  • wow, that was a shit job at steaming milk.... coming from a barista.

  • So... a Cappuccino is like an espresso... but with some frothed milk on top... still tastes like espresso to me. Should I be using flavored espresso mix like english toffee or something? Because honestly I'm rather frustrated. I bought this machine thinking it would taste better than my instant cappuccino mix, but the "cappuccino" has pretty much just coffee flavor, and its.... got milk froth on top. It's literally an espresso with some fluffy milk. =(

    What am I doing wrong?

  • i mean to vote your comment up but accidently hit down .... ya that steaming is pretty horrible

  • I can't believe how much a Cup o' Joe costs these days, I've been roasting at home, got some good tips from coffeeloverstipsandtricks (.) com

  • Thanks!

  • Had it for 3 weeks. Love it. Just remember before you remove the portafilter and holder to wait 15-20 seconds after you turn the flow off (you will hear the machine purge and release pressure). If not you may cause the coffee to "Burp" all over. This has not happened to me because I was warned and made that mistake with my old espresso machine. A good grinder (manual or electric) is a must. Good, even espresso grind is a must. The fresher the coffee bean + grind bean just before use is best.

  • Just bought one, coming in the mail. I had a Capresso Bar 351, for 5 years. It finally died. This should be an upgrade. It was simular operation but the 351 had a time to shut it down for one or two shots.

  • Excellent and easy to understand
