On a whole, SJA volunteers save lives. They are good people who care. From motorsport to village fayres, I have a lot of appreciation for all of them. Thank you.

I am a SJA cadet and just wanted to say that it's a fun club to go to and has a purpose, we can help out the real ambulances and paramedics, also it's a great place to meet friends!

@madmedic99 Only just read your comment, but have to agree with you there. I'm Full time NHS but deal a lot with Voluntary aid agencies south and north of the border. Be it St John Ambulance, Red Cross, St Andrews First Aid, or Community Responders, they are out there doing work that, with all respect to my colleagues who do a great job, they wouldnt be turning out if they were volunteers. We forget that we get paid for all the crap we deal with. These guys and gals do it for free. Respect!

@sharkybadboy The problem here is that you have tarnished everyone with the same brush. There are certainly members of SJA that I would not let anywhere near me but some are bloody great.
-
@Rob1992SJA Indeed we are and thank you for sharing yours, I too hope I don't need their help one day too! Lol!
-
@sharkybadboy747 So everyone is entitled to there own opinion, just hope you dont need there help one day.
See Ya.

@Rob1992SJA my views are unchanged in fact they have merely been confirmed through these posts (re-read them and you will see). Again you only have to look at members both on youtube and in public to see that they are not professional in appearence at all. I have always been fully aware of what members do and still am, that is waht is truly frightening!
-
@sharkybadboy747 I left you a message back then because of your negative views of the organisation. I only hoped to help you see from a different view that the organisation isnt that bad. I hope what I wrote is of help. I am not too sure if you are or are not a member. I believe all members try be of a proffesional appearance to the general public. I see after your conversation with Helloin444 on this video you may be more aware of what members do.

@Rob1992SJA I have looked at the comments made and most of them seem to be about loving driving fast on blue lights and how cool crusaders are! As for the rest then they are criticisms of SJA!!!! Not quite sure what point of view it is you want me to look at?

when SJA are at a VENUE quit often they are the only medic cover and if you are in a area that the NHS are busy in then it could take time that a patient might not have to transport then to HOSPITAL for vital treatment that could be out of SJA skills and qualifcations. where I like the local SJA back up the NHS a lot and are on 999 calls where blue light trained volunteers get to life threating emergancies and I have a lot of respect for what they do FOR FREE! it might be a hobby but gd for them
The bloke standing up in the White t shirt after it comes over the fence is my dad .
