In memory of AnnaBelle (redone)

This is for my horse that I sold on May 4th 2007.
You're gone but never forgotten. I miss you more and more each day! I just wish for the day that we could still be together. You were my first horse and out of my stupidity.. you're gone. I'm sorry girl. I know you're probably happy in your new home but I just wish you were still here. It was so hard to see you go.
I remember waiting for the people to come and pick you up so you could be shipped to your new home. I couldn't seem to give you enough hugs, kisses or goodbyes. I sat down by your side while you ate your last meal in your pasture. I was starting to realize how hard it was going to be without you. All kinds of thoughts were racing through my head the whole time and I kept wondering WHY you had to go.

When the people finally arrive, you were still eating and they took you away from your food and walked you into the trailer. You looked back at me...and I stood in that trailer with you every moment that I could.
I gave you one last kiss and I petted you on the nose.. then they drove off and I knew that it just wasn't going to be the same without you... From the moment you left, I've had a broken heart and I'm not sure that it will ever heal. I will always remember you and I think about you every day.
There's an emptyness now and I just wish I could fill it up again..
I miss you...

What a stunning looking horse. I remember when my family sold my first bearded dragon... years on, almost 8, I still miss him however now I have my own job I keep many gorgeous bearded dragons (as well as python, birds and other lizards) but it never is the same. They always hold a place in your heart and I know we won't soon forget them, but niether will we make the same mistake. xoxo
