@homeaddition I successfully changed the oil and it was the same air filter as the GS300. Thanks for your video. It is because of this that I was able to. Thanks man!

@superdrdre Not sure. It's possible that the IS has a standard oil filter, making the process even easier.

Awesume! This was very helpful for helping me to figure out how to do it on my GS 350. The oil filter on the GS 350 is horizoronntal, and it does not have the extra drain plug. It is a simpler, one piece cartridge. Unscrew the cartridge using a $12 oil filter wrench from Lexus (64 MM x 14) (or a competitor). The oil will drain from the cartridge when the fins are vertical (no mess). Make sure the new filter has the same length as what you are taking out (to avoid damaging your engine).

Well done. I don't yet own a Lexus, but will soon. It's good to see such qualitty DIY videos such as this. I'm looking at a GS350 but may get an LS460. Again, great job!
