you can surf on any of the hawaiian islands any time of year and either the north, south east or west coast will have waves averaging from 2-4 (4-7 face) at any given time.

This is a great video. I have surfed the harbor many times. Yes, there are a lot of Sea Urchins. First time I surfed there, I found this out the hard way. 6 hour flight home with 60 spines in foot. However, the locals are cool if you show respect. They even offered to piss on my foot! So kind!

No sweat about localism anywhere in Hawaii. They talk bad and look bad but the cops know who they are. You run into bad problem tell the cops. Don't let locals bother you. Ignore em
