Nice tut. I submitted some code to Inkscape to make it a little more SVG compliant the devs are really friendly. This is a great project.

whatever it is, it means your version is bugged. simply uninstall it, delete all setting-related files (not the images you created, of course) and reinstall the current version afterwards.
