  • this is nice, can you use protools without a mbox?

  • There are 3 different levels of protools, HD, which is the pro version costing at least 10 grand in hardware. LE which comes with digidesign hardware such as the 003,002,the different mboxes etc. and MPOWERED which is what I use, which uses compatible M-Audio hardware. So to answer your question yes you can it just depends on what hardware you own. Pretty soon I'll be posting some tutorials on Protools and some great shortcuts using it. Please look for those and thanks for watching

  • @jaytec2010 yea Pro tools 9 doesn't need hardware anymore

  • please help me to understand, does PD allow you to create multiple tracks from one track/song? does it allow you to separate vocals, instruments etc...?

  • How did you connect PD to Protools?

    Can you help me out?

    Thnaks in advance

  • Great job. I downloaded your patch for the Oxygen 8, and I see it all working in PD. But I just can't get it to work in Pro Tools, no matter what setting I choose.

I'm thinking it might be version specific. I'm using PT LE 7.4 on Windows XP, and PD just won't talk to PT. Can you help out? This is an awesome idea.

  • thnax for explaining. so this means you are using the program language PD to programm your own connections? coz using this method one could create a hugh console with midi controllers right? that would be very interesting to make and cheep. do you have your program as a download?

  • What is PD...?

    explain in detail
