Now, seing as this is from Qantas in 2006, I find it a bit disappointing that they were so far behind the times. Ansett started serving hot dinners in domestic economy back in '96.

Qantas used be good before 2008 but it's becoming more lame. If they bring back more aussie jobs I travel again sometime.

@Virginbluepilot27 The only reason I have a Velocity card with vb is they now fly direct to Johannesburg but I don't really fly vb alot. I usually upgrade to business class on Qantas from Sydney to Johannesburg...

well on domestc qf services its around $300 for the flight. vb is $69-100 and the food is nice and cheap.and its proven that vb have the widest seat pitch of the domestic operations of any airline. vb's crew are more friendlier and more enthusiastic about there job. qf are too dear and crap along with jetstar.
