  • thats fine bro...any pointers i can give to my welder to get that quality out my exhaust

  • @a1dre09 Having the pipes run side by side then Y-ing is optimal. Really man, all I did was look at the one sold by 3SX and tried to reciprocate that. The downpipe in the video is not the finished product, but the new one I made looks just like the 3SX one.

  • sweeet exhaust man, what would take for u build a similar downpipe for my vr4? alot of vr4s dont sound like that lol.

  • @a1dre09 Thanks for the compliment, I still get excited about hearing my exhaust every time I drive. My apologies, however, that I cannot make any more of these at the moment.I got plenty of my own projects and jobs that need to get done before I start working on others again.

  • being that its less restrictive, did it hurt your gas mileage at all??

  • @ESH318V8 Negative. In fact, I got about 1mpg better on average. However, since I can move slightly more air out of the combustion chamber, I can put slightly more air in, which means more fuel as well. So if Im on the pedal (I have fun EVERY time I drive) I get about 22-24mpg city.

  • @ShinigamiRota

So you are saying that the reason I get so many compliments on the exhaust sound of my car is entirely because of a couple pieces of pipe that I threw together?

    I'll take that :)

  • Ha you wanna hear LOUD Try a set of gutted Tannabe Hyper medallions. + a whistler perch inside the inner tube. sounds like a phantom under pressure. crse your not a vr4 so can't pull that one off.N/A not enough pressure to whistle threout perch.+ I kept the oem quad tips but the to pipes are 3" with the tips expanded. Also lucky you got that sound from flowmaster. they usually just drone with the strum. that down pipe is your reason for the mean sound. just so you know.

  • very nice sounding bro! sounds really mean!

  • Cool video! GTO!!! #1
