-From, "SE INCONTRI SARTANA PREGA PER LA TUA MORTE" (Italy, 1968)
-"IF YOU MEET SARTANA, PRAY FOR YOUR DEATH" or "GUNFIGHTERS DIE HARDER" (USA)
-"SARTANA" (France)

First in the series of 'Sartana' westerns, starring quintessential Gianni Garko (a.k.a., John Garko), and William Berger, Fernando Sancho and Klaus Kinski.

While Ennio Morricone pioneered the classic Italian Western sound, he had many brilliant friends and rival composers to compete with. Here's a great one from Piero Piccioni.

  • @Lyndle54 ... go to your room.

  • I never cared for Piccioni's western scores. His music is too jazzy. The only thing going for most spag. westerns is the music, and when even this sucks, their not worth watching. Only Morricone & his many imitators provide the right sauce for these unrealistic flics.

  • Hands down, your colletcion rocks!!!!

  • bellissima

  • Super! Piccioni is very underrated in my opinion.

  • Piccioni's really the best !!!!!!!! i love this one, thanks a lot for this wonderful soundtrack.

  • Sartana kicked ass and Piccioni smashes this soundtrack.

    Great post, thanks.
