The BBC's James Pearce reports from central London.
It's going to be a hell of a year for London tourism-wise.

Spectacular indeed...shame it began to rain in the second half. It sure will be an unforgettable year for London and anyone involved or affected, but I keep wondering...why media don't mention that London also hosts WorldPride this year, which is just as spectacular?
