I reenact British (Scottish) units in California and I believe it is a good thing to show that Poland lives!!! and same thing here Americans do german parts as well.
This comment has received too many negative votes show
^^ ?!? why are you doing such "reenactments"? Soldiers in that uniforms nearly wiped out poland for ever (and hat plans to execute 3/4 of mankind). everyone who wears theese uniforms/weapons/signs here in germany ends right up in prison

We did it to show polish people polish history live. We focus on polish soldiers and their bravery, but of course somebody must play the other side of conflict. We did it in safe way - because we are aware of the history, we know what did men "in theese uniforms" in Poland - for that reasons we can reenact it without any idological excitement. We are the "german group", but we know very well with polish groups and we are taking part is such historical shows together, after consultation.

On this clip you can see only the one side of conflict, see videos from polish side from this battle.
Beside, german army was one of the best from armies in II ww. For us, fans of history of II ww, is a great reson to reenact it.

thats good to know. some yers ago i run by accident into an reenactment in Britain. ( on holliday) I normaly like british people .. but there where realy ..strange.. people. Most of them in german uniforms ... plainly spoken in SS-uniforms . Nearly no one in allyd uniform (only as prisoners). all discussing how and where to get original peaces. Some even selling empty cyclon-b cans. i left that show as fast as possible.

Maybe you were a witness of meeting of neonazi groups, because no one who seriously treat reenactment could present such things. I don`t know how it is in Britan, but I hope it was a margin. There are always to sides of conflict during reenactments events, when is only one side is sick, thats true. One visit in concentration camp and they probably stop their "jokes" with empty cyclon-b cans. They were definitetly a neonazis, not reenactors.
