Two brothers brought up on a strict diet of Malcolm, Assata (for protein), Ella, and the Black Panther Party, just to name a few, come together to fill a void: independent Black media that actually serves the needs and interests of Black Liberation. Some may call us old fashioned. Some may say were stuck in the past. To this we respond that the past has gone nowhere. White supremacy is alive and well. Black suffering is alive and well. The generational mission Fanon warned us of is calling. Unabashed Black Power is the response. We dont bite tongues, nor mince we words. We about Black Liberation. We about Black Power. And as our commander-in-chief, El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, tells us, we dont care who likes it or not, as long as we know its the truthIf youre afraid to tell the truth, why, you dont even deserve Freedom.
