  • He didn't boycott it. He's just a private person who's not interested in doing interviews or talking about "what was it like?"

He did correspond with the filmmakers.

Quit trying to extract some secret code from their words. There isn't some secret message that'll make you special cause only you can see it.

  • There is PLENTY to do on the moon! Solar energy collected from the moon would be far more efficient. Also traces of helium-3, a very valuable substance, has been found on the moon.

  • Click Dartmouth Films to watch the new trailer for 'The Flaw' which is David Sington's new film. David is the director of 'In the Shadow of the Moon'.

  • The single greatest strategical advantage is to own the high ground,it would be a huge advantage to have a base on the moon, feel free to discuss

  • You can collect solar energy from earth orbit too. Also how would you transport this solar energy from moon anyways? You cannot convert this into a rocket fuel which would be useful in putting a man in the mars. Stop bulshitting around.

  • Great! Go Buzz!

  • Funny how Neil Armstrong boycotted Opie's British "documentary" by BBC. "One day, you're just Gene Cernan, young Naval aviator, the next day you're a hero, and American hero, and you've done NOTHING. I called the moon my home for three days of my life, and I'm here to tell you about it, that's science fiction!" "My father was born shortly after the Wright brothers. He could barely believe that I went to the Moon. But my son Tom was five, and he didn't think it was any big deal."

  • There is no sense in putting man on the moon now, since there is nothing to do on the moon at all. Can you imagine spending millions of dollars just to bring some more rocks? Remember that all the money comes from the US government. NASA really must have strong reasons to shoot anything into space. My advice is to think a little bit more before you share your conspiracy theories with us :)
