Quick Walkthrough: Setting up Samplitude 11, EWQL Sym.Choir with standalone Wordbuilder to route MIDI from an external keyboard through Wordbuilder into Samplitude
@ThomasVoMusic ... so obviously there's something wrong in your midi setup, may be the keyboard does not output NOTE OFF correctly, may be your midi interface is flawed ... perhaps you can find some friend to have a look at your equipment. Either way it does not seem to be EWQL related (or Samplitude, for that matter) :-)
Sometimes even when I don't record but rather just play around on my keyboard, it still makes those hanging sounds. The only way I can remove it is to delete the project and restart Cubase :\
Sounds like there are notes "hanging". Have you made sure the NOTE OFF is recorded correctly? (Take a look at the midi data). Sorry, I cannot help much further as I am using Sam, not QB.
Hey, I set this up correctly in Cubase. But when I play the notes with the Worldbuilder, there would be long sustained notes that I cannot remove. Like if I have it says "Silence is Golden," it says: SilennceeeeeeeeeeeeeeISsssssssssGoldensssssssssssss." Hope that makes sense haha. Do you have any tips?
I do not fully understand what you mean. If you have installed the DLL for the Player (whatever Player you are using) and eventually have told Samplitude to scan the directory you put the DLL in, you should get the Player as a VSTi in the "New Instrument" list. That does depend on the Player being a VSTi in the first place, though.
As for support for Samplitude, please have a look into the official Samplitude forum.
