Mission: Objective Completed
Anti-war medias like Newsweek, Time, local papers and televisions showed the bad, the ugly and the worst. Monstrous and absurd, brave spirit defending liberty stabled from behind with a pen. The good, the valor of Lam Son 719 front-line was never covered or told. Cơn Uất Hạ Lào, Lam Son 719 one document from a commander who was on the battle field from start to end, speak out for those can't so their souls rested in peace. For future generation, who will look at these extraordinary men deeds, 24X7 they faced hell from enemy Arty Regiments and maintains composure where others uncommitted and wavered. They stood tall at enemy 320th Division & 304th Division best efforts tarring and feathering. They took the field and met their objective. Vietnam Airborne, they're all volunteers and most willingly put themselves in harm ways for freedom. Cơn Uất Hạ Lào, Lam Son 719 documented a decisive commander, his astute officers and headstrong persistence resourceful men were one of many battle engagements example from "Sư Đoàn Nhảy Dù SĐND" Vietnam Airborne Division. My Mom's said it best ""Nhảy Dù" Airborne, man among men" honor, duty, always a gentle man and a gentleman.

"I rather go to hell in Vietnam than live like king for China"
Trần Bình Trọng 陳評仲 (1259 - 1285)
Was it faith or destiny, in late 1973 Airborne released him of command. An attempted at court martial failed. Again I met those men; those without honor; with their family at Guam. They left their Division, Brigade, Battalion, command and men before April 30th, 1975. I'm a Vietnamese but here and now this is my home, my country where liberty dwells. 裴德名

Arty SGN-MNL HQ502 April 29th, 1975

Their men exhausted and understrength against overwhelming force they fought valiantly to the very end.

And after all these things are his, add, I pray, enough of a sense of humor, so that he may always be serious, yet never take himself too seriously. Give him humility, so that he may always remember the simplicity of greatness, the open mind of true wisdom, the meekness of true strength.
Then I, his father, will dare to whisper, "I have not lived in vain."

Lead him, I pray, not in the path of ease and comfort, but under the stress and spur of difficulties and challenge. Here let him learn to stand up in the storm; here let him learn compassion for those who fail.
Build me a son whose heart will be clean, whose goal will be high; a son who will master himself before he seeks to master other men; one who will learn to laugh, yet never forget how to weep; one who will reach into the future, yet never forget the past.

A Father's Prayer
by General Douglas MacArthur
Build me a son, O Lord, who will be strong enough to know when he is weak, and brave enough to face himself when he is afraid; one who will be proud and unbending in honest defeat, and humble and gentle in victory.
Build me a son whose wishbone will not be where his backbone should be; a son who will know Thee and that to know himself is the foundation stone of knowledge.
