Camaro 3.8 with Thrush muffler

A little update before more changes come. I replaced that old rusted out Flowmaster with a Thrush turbo muffler and it sounds really good. Overall not bad for under $30. I'm still deciding on whether or not I'm going turbo or going with a complete L67 swap but donno yet but for now this is going to be my set up.

I will be getting a new set of rims hopefully this week. and a few other minor interior stuff.

Even if its a temporary fix it still sounds pretty good and it would be cool to see either one of those done to it.

@oler777 Yeah I evenitually wanna go with a Diablo 6.0 style exhaust were its right underneith my license plates but by then I hope to either be Supercharged or Turbo. So far I like it.

Why just one exhaust outlet?

Doesn't the flowmaster give you better hp?

@Naturalhit Because its going to be my temporay setup for a little while until I decide whether or not I'm going to Turbo the car or do a complete L67 swap. By then I should be going with an aftermarket cat with a full borla exhaust.

The Flowmaster was awful. it rusted out. If you ever go the route of Flowmaster consider buying the complete kit either cat back or full exhaust instead of the muffler alone.

@vfIskullangel If you do go turbo you probably won't need the exhaust at all. Backpressure and turbo don't go every well with each other.

Probably an L32 swap would be better for you FI car. Good luck.
