how many frames per sec is this camera?

This camcorder only does 30fps at 1080p, 720p, and 480p. It doesn't have 24p (cinema mode) if that's what your looking for but this can easily be negated by using video editing software to convert it.

about an hour and a half or two. not sure haven't personally tested it.

I think everything is good except the focus often takes a long time to kick in!

Yeah that can be somewhat annoying so i just avoid zooming with the camera unless i have to, but i mainly use After Effects to zoom in.

I was bummed for about a year when I bought this camera for a reasonable price beause I could never use the video on my old lap top but then I upgraded and I am amazed at how great the camera shoots.

i just got this camera and testing it battery is about an hour with 720p recording so it would be good to have second battery in pocket. Btw as a minus point for me is a sound recording quality where I can hear strong audio noise level.

PERFECT, i prefer 30fps a lot, i can convert it to 24, but i prefer 30.

I have it also I hate that it takes awhile to focus also if you recording in low light or darkness it seems grainy not sure if all hd cams do that but its not to bad
