Panasonic Lumix 2009 fz28 or 2011 fz100 --- camera test

about the video.
last year i recorded the A380 from the back garden. today is the 1st time really this year there has been any planes to see here. ive joined last years recording with todays .. hoping to show how the cameras responded. i think the exposure was different .. and the zoom was a little more on the new FZ100.

about the cameras.
ive passed on the fz28 ( boo hoo )and upgraded to the new fz100.
im not convinced about the new camera . the video Q is slightly less noisy. still picture Q doesnt seem as good at full resolution.
the stabilizer in movie mode jitters more and is harder to control IMO.
the lens seems to be of a good quality and the audio is def a improvement.

im already thinking of trading it in for something else. shame the fz28 was quite good all round camera apart from the poor audio.

why didn't you zoom back before the plane disappeared...??

You wait to long and when the plane is disappearing you zoom back, so you don't appreciate the real distance...

Properly is you zoom in and back at the same distance or pretty close if you zooming a plane...

@TheGuanche07 fair enough. i tried to make the video the same as possible from memory. the video was meant to compare the stabilizer of 2x different cameras. the zoom is of no consequence i think. i zoomed away only to end the shot. some videos i notice videos fade out.
