  • Just a few clarifications: it is ELEVEN years ago TONIGHT -- Tuesday, 6 October 1998, that Matthew Wayne Shepard was savagely beaten about the head and left tied to a fencepost with a Boy Scout tightness (how ironic).

    As for a great example of the need for the Matthew Shepard Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Act, I give you Sean William Kennedy from South Carolina (home of the hypocrite J. Strom Thurmond).
