guys it wasnt until game 6 that the refs started making fixed calls. In game 5 neither team was at risk of elimination so they didnt need to rig that game. Game 6 had L.A on the brink of elimination so the refs gave them a huge boost to push the series to 7 games and make the league more money.

fuckin crybabies. the whole lot of ya! fuck the lakers btw ;)

@AdR1aN43 they still do, watch when they make playoffs. And plus all those years when kings were doing bad, there were still many fans screaming.

@ThatSwimGuy You don't think Laker fans had a heartbreaking moment that could be equal to what the Kings went through? Try the 2008 NBA finals, when the Celtics poured Gatorade on the coach with a minute left in the game. That hurt, but we moved on. I'm just saying that Kings fans need to get over the past and try to route for the current team, though they aren't very good.

@ThatSwimGuy I know what it's like as well. I not only played sports, I played basketball. Also, thank you. My team gets a lot of crap for bandwagon fans, so it's nice to see someone recognize a true fan.
The players move on. If they don't, they aren't worthy to really play in the NBA. Fans need to move on. The reason why the true Laker fan base (which is pretty big) is such a great fan base is because we swallow our team's shortcomings, when they happen, and move on.

@crazytrain81 But more power to you for always being a lifelong fan. To be so close to a goal, or a championship, and to not attain it when it's a a grasp away, and to have it wrenched away, it's a scar that will always be there. For the fans, and for the team. As an athlete, I know what that's like, so I can see why people aren't always as willing to let it go.
-
@crazytrain81 Lol, most of us are. A great deal of us are focused on building the team we have now. Plus, you drew a pretty piss-poor analogy, though I see what you were getting at. In Dallas, you just got torched. There's a difference between getting torched and having Game 7 of the WCF (and several of the games) seemingly decided by the refs, swinging for either Kings or Lakers, so that the NBA could have it's game 7 of the finals. If the result had been different,LA would still talk about it.

KINGS HAVE THE LOUDEST CROWN IN THE NBA!

@911goathead Only because of Bill Russell. He's one of the greatest players, but the 60s are why the Celtics are staked. The Lakers have won in more decades of basketball history than the Celtics.
series was corrupt. Fuck LA and Stern
