@check1t I hear ya but it's a SWEET pain..lol..;) I always use Full Power Loads myself from Cor-Bon but have some decent Glaser Safety Slugs for home defense. They use #6 shot, I think, maybe it's #8 shot, I can't remember, but they're awesome. I do also have some nice Semi-Auto's in .45ACP where I also use the Glaser Safety Slugs in +P and they're excellent too but I love my wheelguns and I love the .44Mag. Check out some Glasers and see what you think, I think you'll like them. Stay Safe!

Excellent choice bro. The non fluted cylinder is timeless. I'm gonna get the 8 shot .357 version. 1911 snobs are gonna pop when they see I've got just as many powerful rounds with no jamming, no need to carry my gun cocked for instant action, and no worrying about magazine springs or the ejector.

@Bill1275w yeah I love this gun! Ammo is a bit high but I still love it. I always crack up at the range when people hear me shooting it.

Nice owning a HAND CANNON isn't it?? LOL...I love my 629PC. I love all snubbie MAGNUMS and I also have the S&W M329PD, S&W M629 Backpacker Limited, S&W M629-4 Alaska Backpacker and in .357 Mag, I have a S&W M627 PC a S&W M327 PC M&P and the one that got me started with it all, the S&W M686 2 1/2". All awesome snubbie's, if you get a chance to test drive any of them, do it, you won't be sorry. Enjoy your Smithy, great choice! Good Luck...

@Dozer1003 Nice collection you have there. It is a hand cannon...a real "beauty and the beast" type of gun. I love to put 50 to hundred rounds in it at a time. With magnum loads it doesn't take long before I need a break. lol
