Visit http://theidlesociety.com/ for songs by my 'band' The Idle Society.

I saw Johnny Marr playing the outro to There Is A light That Never Goes Out on The Story Of The Guitar and decided to have a go myself on my 12 string Rickenbacker. If anyone would like me to do a more in depth video just ask me. I wont say no, how could I?

  • Yes youre right that is the flute melody. Seems to be the part that everyone wants to hear. Who could blame them. it's genius.

  • Cool stuff. Keep it up. Your 620 looks just like mine ( before the toasters)

  • @halberthawkins Hi the guitar in this video is a 660. I love that untitled riff you were working on that you posted a coupleof months ago ``very dark. Hope to hear a song made around it soon

  • thats not the chorus, the chorus is "C" "Am" "F" "G" and so on , what you played is the verse part of the end of the song.

  • @xejlod Yes I know that. i'd love to see an uploaded version of yours...
