I can give you a long list of people who will happily pontificate on the good things about being married.... gay people who want to be able to get married.

So how does talking about marriage in good ways offend gay people?

My point is, we're teaching them complex things before we're teaching them simple/basic things. (You're supposed to learn something when you are ready to learn it.. You crawl BEFORE you walk, not the other way around.)

It's weird how people are trying to teach kids below the age of 12 complex things (or issues) such as sexual orientation, before the kids have the fundimentals or basics down. Basics such as Reading, Writing, Proper English, Basic Math (Adding, Subtracting, Dividing, Multiplying and a little Algebra or Pre-Algebra)...

And therefore they might lose too many votes.. because there are too many people who are either gay themselves or just gay right supporters, either way there is WAY TOO MANY gay right supporters out there. They are brainwashed into thinking that we are taking away their rights and freedom, especially when the media or whomever compares it to slavery or other issues in the past which WERE TRULLY an issue of rights or freedom being suppressed from someone. Does that make any sense?

One reason why he or other presidents with beautiful families don't or won't talk about marriage in good ways is because they don't have the balls to deal with the possibility of (and the consequences of) offending the "gays".
