  • Is there any games BEFORE this one ? and AFTER ? like this was terranigma 2 and there is a 1 and 3 ?

  • Well there are games like... Actraiser, Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia. They aren't directly related to Terranigma but they're made by the same company and they're still awesome games.

  • Oh hell, this makes me cry even when I watch it 13 years after finish Terranigma the first time.

The ending is tough and very sad. Maybe one of the sadest moments in video game history. However, as I kept watching the ending until the credits were over, I knew the ending was a good one though.

For me, I know who's knocking on the door. Thats my interpretation of the final scene. :)

  • i remember playing this when it came out in japan and after i finished i was dazed for days. the ending was just so... dark. i cant find a good word. but this is my fav game of all time.

Always glad to share with others. Final Fantasy 2 - 5 are great as well.

    Enjoy, friend!

  • @USRecovery2kX Good stuff to know. Thanks for all your insight into an era I missed out on. I really appreciate it :D

Lufia for the SNES was great. The creators put more effort into Lufia 2 by making puzzles; some insanely difficult. When they did Lufia for the gameboy, it was just a hack & slash game.

  • @USRecovery2kX Graphics being put above every other aspect of the game happens far too often for my liking. It's really kinda sad. I never played the Lufia series, but I might have to

  • @JohnBaxterly

Illusion of Gaia was badly done. The game was far too linear. Soul Blazer was great. The graphics of both games were incredible - just like Lufia's graphics were. If you remember the beginning of Lufia: Rise of the Sinistrals - the castle's background was epic. When you go underwater to explore it again in the future, it was just as epic. Now games are too much about graphics but have crappy storylines; as Final Fantasy 9 showed us.

  • @USRecovery2kX Oh yeah, believe me, I've been through my emulator days. To keep it relevant, I've played the other two games in this (loose) trilogy; Illusion of Gaia was pretty sweet, but i can't remember why I stopped playing it, and Soul Blazer was... meh. Everything's gotta start somewhere, though

Go download the SNES emulator & the full collection of games. You still have a chance to play them but without having to buy the console, mess with cartridges & worry about connections.

  • @USRecovery2kX Don't feel old, feel lucky. My generation will never get to experience those moments, nor will they ever get to play (as I've heard many call it) "the last great console," the SNES. At least I've got these YouTube vids :D

  • "I tried to kill you as a baby in Storkolm"

I've never even PLAYED this game, and that got me choked up. Truly an underrated gem
