@Proustable They deserved their world title. They were amazing in 2001. And Cinquanta has mostly had a bad effect on italian skating, not really the opposite.

So much controversy at Salt Lake, thus controversy about this pair. But just watching them skate, especially here with Marina in this long ruffled skirt, there is no doubt that they are gifted and special skaters. The best ice dancers of their time. Such skill and DRAMA!

@TheEwita Tessa & Scott's flamenco, this routine, Torvill & Dean's Paso Doble, Rhumba and Rock 'n' Roll and Grichuk & Platov's Argentine Tango are the best orginal dances over the years.... simply gorgeous

this dance is legendary! so memorable and worthy of an olympic performance. they really worked hard to come up with a strong OD after having a slump on ODs for two straight seasons. and to their edge, this kind of dance has always been their forte. i even prefer this to their FD. ;)
