Yes I have fired a 500 magnum, but in the pistol form. Haven't fired a super-light shoulder rifle in that anything. What does the 12 gauge have to do with anything, and where are are you getting this info that they dislocate shoulders from?

.500 rounds vary from pussy cat to kick the crap out of you. The handi rifles are light so they make it a lot worse. The hottest rounds will bruise your hand in a pistol and hurt your wrist, If you doubt they would hurt in a light weight rifle you just fail at physics.
