  • when you plug in the portable blu ray player to a tv, does the tv have to be a HD tv, flat screen tv to play 1080p movies ???? I have a old Toshiba tv from 2004. It`s like a box.

  • @newartrecords It does come with a specific AV jack cable (which unfortunately I've lost somehow and can't find where to get a replacement) and states you can view images on a normal TV by this method, but I don't think blu-rays would work as they're not compatible through this connection.

So if you're wanting to watch blu-rays on a bigger screen, you will need an HDTV, which are going down in price dramatically. :)

  • A few questions:

    1. Is the headphone port 3.5mm?

    2. Does it also play dvds?

    3. Is the screen available in larger sizes?

  • @yousellouts:

    1) Yes, they are the standard size, every headphone I've owned, fit in the port.

    2) Yes it does. :)

    3) I'm not aware of any bigger screened models.

    Hope this helped! :)

  • but I dont remember seeing you mention battery life. whats the real time battery life watching Blu Ray movies without any BD live features or remote control? thats how I would practically use it on a plane- I go on 3-5 hour flights 4-5 times a year

  • @iamaptpupil It's 5 hours on full charge. ;)

  • @iamaptpupil It's really good and would be perfect for plane trips. :)

  • I could use something like this on plane trips. god knows I have enough blu rays to watch now

  • @BlueShadow463 When I'm watching a film I really don't notice a thing.

Someone a while back also asked me the same question and I responded with the same answer, I've recently received an e-mail from this guy who said he's now had it for a few weeks and he doesn't know why people said it was noisy either.

So that's two people saying it's not noisy. :)

  • Very nice review man! Is it very loud? Like can you hear the disk spinning? Plz Answer! Thanks!!
