  • @theShowStopper321 I wouldnt say his ideas where so creative...i mean, it where for his time but i just saw him on a clinic 3 months ago and he's still playing the same things. Gotta be the only guitarist of his time that didint developed new ways. I may say hes very overrated, though hes a great player.

  • @gre1990 Never ending chops, highly creative, did things no one ever else did, came up with orig. ideas-techniques, could figure things out quickly that would take others extended periods of time (semi-genius), many books written about him declaring him a prodigy or virtuoso. Excellent songwriter, original and interesting rhythmic syncopation. Tricky licks, great blues feel and played from the heart. Didn't worry about perfect technique and still smoked everyone.

  • @theShowStopper321 name yours.

  • @gre1990 actually he is, and 99.9% of people agree with that. Name your reasons

  • @theShowStopper321 Nope. Hes not. I love him, but hes not.

  • @gre1990 Edward was a virtuoso before he started having "issues"

  • Man, you are SO right...everybody keeps talking about Ed and yes, of course, he is a genius on guitar, but hell, Al is such a GREAT drummer. His solo on that tour just blew me away. He is a monster...

  • @MidnightRambler73 Yeah..hes not a virtuoso.

But lets say that songs on Lee Roth era are way better composed than Hagar's.

And Hagars sings terrible the songs from Lee Roth era.

I just went to a concert with Hagar and it was pretty boring, even when the guy has a great voice.

  • No one loves Dave more than me, but he's got to be less flat footed next show!

  • This version sounds slower and heavier :) awesome!
