Getting married. Season 2's "The Attempted Marriage" is a flashback to Rob and Laura's multiple attempts to tie the knot while Rob was in the Army. They were finally married in the base hospital, after Rob was admitted with a severe upper respiratory infection, bronchitis, and ear infection. That's why he and Laura were wearing surgical masks for their first married kiss; Rob was highly contagious, so everyone present for the wedding wore a mask, including the chaplain.

The show's only Christmas episode, season 3's "The Alan Brady Show Presents" (originally aired December 1963). Rob, Laura, Ritchie, Buddy, Sally, and Mel went in front of the cameras on The Alan Brady Show for Alan's Christmas show. (Alan Brady was the one dressed as Santa Claus.)
