It was to show what the player would be doing when he hits 20, since dungeons and bams are the game's strong points. Alot of people don't make it till 20, esp people who haven't preordered so they might get a wrong impression of the game.

First off, everyone in the whole world knows about turning graphics down. Useless advice. Second, this game is EXTREMELY optimized. What would take the newest alienware to run, has been optimized so a four-year old HP laptop can play.

I thought it was a pretty cool way to give players a taste of the skills at lvl 20, instead of going from level 1. I play a mystic, but I tried out a priest just to see how their intro to healing was; I found it very useful.

I didn't lag at all, and I was playing on a full server. Toning down the graphics may help, or you can even scale how many people you want to display in an area to avoid loading additional people. I know the game is CPU intensive, so giving it priority may also help.

This was so... This wasn't really much of a way to start off a game, IMO.

Everything was horribly laggy and you don't really have much time to learn your moves and learn a technique when fighting like this...

really? I hit 20 on day two.

Though the second I hit 20, the gamer got a LOT harder.
